I am extremely tired of that old plot , dating from at least the 1930 ies, about the naive girl who doesn’t even ask for details or justifications before judging she has been betrayed and immediately leaves. Please find something more subtle . Frankly I would have sent her packing for sheer stupidity.
Did anyone clean up the vomit in the library???? It’s killing me this detail wasn’t addressed! (After she accidentally found the envelope.)
