Billie Grady has run the returns counter at Ardsley's for eleven years and has never once been talked into yes. So when the man who closes department stores marries her — quietly, on contract, ninety days — she assumes she knows the price. She doesn't. Every gift makes leaving cost more. And he signed the papers to close her store before he ever met her.
Smoother but to many long details that could have been explained another way. The girl’s voice is slow. The story line good. But stretched out. Need more love talk from them.
Deliciously romantic story 🥰🤩🙏🏻
