He said it soft, like a promise and a sentence at the very same time. No door, no excuse, no way out, and the frightening part is how much of her does not want one. Tonight the most dangerous man in the room has decided she belongs to him, and walking away is the last thing on her mind.
We need more of this kind of sexual heat. It really had nothing to do with the human trafficking that was just a story line. If he didn’t take a 16 year old girl he wouldn’t be interested in human trafficking. The sexual tension was amazing. Hot.
Dang get out fire extinguisher 🔥
Hahaha 🔥😂 That's the reaction I live for, Barbara! Thank you so glad it brought the heat. 💕
This is fantasy -- enjoyable and entertaining. People have complained about the inclusion of the human auction, for which she signed onto in accepting her uncle's assignment. In reality -- wrong. In fiction -- a story device, a fantasy. So, I ask, why haven't these same people complained in other stories when a man is slapped by an angry woman? In real life, violence against a woman or a man is wrong without it being used in defense of self or others. Fantasies of violence, bandage, of anything in story telling are not the same as problems of real life. So, enjoy or don't, but perhaps don't condemn.
Nice looking couple. Arranged marriage or human trafficking is not right, at least in Western countries' moral thinking, but it happens a lot in other countries and it seems to be the culture.
Thank you for such a thoughtful note, Brenda 💛 You're touching on something real, and I always want these stories to sit in that tension honestly rather than gloss over it. I so appreciate you reading closely and sharing your perspective. 🤍
Ages don't match. At 23, he is 32. At 16, he shud be 25 not 23. Details...
What am I missing? Since when is there anything remotely romantic or ok about human trafficking?
