On the day that was supposed to be hers, she learned the man she had sacrificed everything for wanted the very friend she loved like a sister. Before she could break down, the most powerful mafia boss in Atlanta rose from his seat, walked all the way to the altar, and asked her to marry him instead. And the coldest man in the city has already decided the woman they just humiliated will belong to no one but him.
I liked thedual POVs. It was good hearing Damuen's point if view. Damien feels like he needs to take care of her, but he knows that she needs to do what she needs. Great part 2.
Yes, exactly, Catherine! 🥰 You captured Damien perfectly: that pull between wanting to protect her and knowing she has to find her own way. Getting to live inside both their heads is my favorite part of a dual POV. Thank you for loving Part 2. 💕
It stopped in the middle of my comment
Oh no, sorry it cut you off mid thought, Marion! 🙈 I'd love to hear the rest whenever you feel like sharing it. Thank you for your patience with me. 💕
Book2: I enjoyed the suspense in both books 1 and 2. However, there are so much details throughout the story and some key ones were never explained. For example, why did Trav protect her for 6 years? Tying all the key details would make the story more complete and enjoyable instead of feeling frustrated.
Thank you for this, Ly-Huong 🥰 I'm so glad the suspense pulled you through both books. And you're right that a few key threads, like why Trav protected her for six years, deserved to be tied off properly. Loose ends like that are exactly what I want to tighten going forward. I really appreciate you pointing it out. 💕
He didn't become his father. Love this story 💕
That line means so much, Margaret 🥰 Breaking the cycle was the whole heart of this one, so I'm beyond happy it landed for you. Thank you for loving it! 💕
I’ve tried on both books now and I get almost to the end and it still acts like it is playing buy it has totally stopped… I don’t get it
Its happening in all videos. I go out and come back in and it fininishes playing.
